Patients with neuroendocrine tumours in the UK have no access to the most appropriate treatment. This is due to a lack of commercially radiolabeled Octreotide. Barts and the London Trust took the initiative to set up a radio pharmacy which can produce this treatment and also supply other Trusts in London. This will enable patients with a specific type of cancer to get the most effective treatment
